If you are preparing for a job interview, which will be completed in French, and you are not studying for a DALF C1, DELF B2, TCF or TEF French oral exam, then you must also practice the basics of communicating your opinion and understanding the common phrases where your opinion is being requested.

Using the following list of recommended phrases to use when seeking an opinion and create three practice sentences for each phrase.   

Imagine being in your French interview and being asked questions about common workplace situations – what type of work do you prefer, what type of work do you not like, what do you think of working overtime, are closed offices good for the workplace, what is the best way to increase morale at work?

We will get you started with the first example : << que penses-tu de…>>. 

  • Que penses-tu de… 
  1. Que penses-tu de ce directeur ? 
  1. Que penses-tu de ce directeur ? 
  1. Que penses-tu de cette évolution ? 
  • Que pensez-vous de…? 
  • À ton avis/selon toi/d’après toi, …?
