Dans notre dernier billet, nous avons mis en évidence plusieurs questions clés concernant la façon de se lancer dans les investissements en crypto-monnaies.

Aujourd’hui, nous allons répondre à la première question : le prix du bitcoin est trop élevé. Est-il trop tard pour moi pour investir dans le bitcoin ?

Tout d’abord, le principal concept que vous devez apprendre lorsque vous investissez dans des actifs cryptographiques est qu’un achat d’investissement cryptographique est différent d’un investissement dans une action. Lorsque vous achetez une action, vous devez généralement acheter une unité complète de cette action, également connue sous le nom d’action. Si vous voulez investir dans Tesla, vous devez acheter au moins une action de Tesla, mais les outils de trading de crypto, tels que Coinbase, vous aident à acheter un pourcentage d’un actif cryptographique. Par exemple, vous pouvez acheter 10 % d’une cryptomonnaie telle que l’Ethereum, ce qui équivaut à environ 400 dollars américains. Il s’agit d’un concept important à comprendre, car il n’est pas nécessaire d’acheter un bitcoin complet pour avoir des bitcoins ! Cela signifie que si le prix demandé pour un Bitcoin est de 65 000 USD et que ce prix dépasse le montant du capital que vous avez à investir, vous pouvez simplement acheter 100 USD et recevoir un pourcentage de Bitcoin.

Par conséquent, si nous devons répondre à la question “Est-il trop tard pour acheter des bitcoins”, la réponse est non car vous pouvez toujours ajouter un pourcentage de bitcoin à votre portefeuille cryptographique. En fait, on s’attend à ce que très peu de personnes soient appelées “whole coiner” et que la grande majorité d’entre nous ne possède jamais qu’une fraction de Bitcoin. L’idée de diviser un bitcoin entier en unités plus petites est également connue sous le nom de “Satoshi” – vous vous souvenez qui est/était Satoshi ? Si le bitcoin est adopté par le grand public, les détenteurs de bitcoins feront référence au nombre de satoshis que coûte un article ou un service.

En résumé, il n’est pas trop tard pour acheter des bitcoins et même si le prix est de 65 000 USD, il pourrait bien atteindre son objectif de 150 000 USD et plus dans un avenir proche. Nous ne donnons pas de conseils officiels en matière d’investissement, mais nous voulons que tous nos apprenants de langue française soient informés et prennent la décision qui leur convient le mieux.

Today, we will address the first question — The price of Bitcoin is too high. Is it too late for me to invest in Bitcoin?

First of all, the main concept that you need to learn when investing in crypto assets is that a crypto investment purchase is different than an investment in a stock. When you buy a stock you typically have to buy a full unit of that stock which is also known as a share. If you want to invest in Tesla then you must buy at least 1 share of Tesla, but crypto trading tools, such as Coinbase assist you buying a percentage of a crypto asset. For example, you can actually buy 10% of a crypto such as Ethereum which would equal roughly $400 USD. This is an important concept to understand because you don’t have to buy a full Bitcoin in order to have Bitcoin! This means that if the asking price for a Bitcoin is $65,000 USD and that price exceeds the amount of capital that you have to invest, then you can simply buy $100 and receive a percentage of Bitcoin.

Therefore, if we must answer the question “Is it too late to buy Bitcoin” then the answer is no because you can still add a percentage of Bitcoin to your crypto wallet. In fact, the expectation is that very few people will be called a “whole coiner” and the vast majority of us will ever only own a fraction of Bitcoin. The idea of dividing a whole Bitcoin into smaller units is also known as having a “Satoshi” — remember who Satoshi is/was? If Bitcoin gains more mainstream adoption then holders of Bitcoin will be referring to how many Satoshis an item or service costs.

In short, it is not too late to buy Bitcoin and even though the price is $65,000 USD it may well reach its target price of $150,000 and beyond in the near future.
